I hope you are staying safe and healthy during these times. The past few months have required an intense amount of focus and determination from all of us. At the end of our 2019 fiscal year, we entered into a global pandemic that demanded we adapt our business model and work from home basically overnight. Despite these challenges, we have been able to keep most of our projects, close projects with new clients and have increased our profitability. So far in the first quarter of FY’20 – for April and May- we closed $4.3M in monthly revenue and were 15.4% over budget. We are on track to finish the first quarter strong. These are accomplishments that we should be proud of. I congratulate each of you and I know that our FY’20 will be successful if we keep up the good work.
As far as the new normal, we discussed this in-depth during the everis USA meeting with our executives. We are focusing on ‘business as usual’ until we know more about our clients reopening plans and our cities and states’ plans where we operate. Let’s continue to move forward and focus as we analyze the situation daily with the safety of our employees in the forefront.
All the best,
everis and Santander Deploy CDD Project
everis USA, and the AML/Compliance team working for Santander US, recently made one of the most important deployments in Santander bank in 2020. The CDD project pursues the migration and adaptation of Santander customer screening and scoring, within the process of onboarding new products in the new compliance platform (NetReveal). The project began on March 14th, 2017 and was finally successfully deployed on April 20th, 2020. everis USA took over the project back in 2019, in the midst of several critical problems the Bank had in the area – lack of knowledge and skills in the platform, non-structured and a very disorganized team, lack of alignment with the business areas, a very unstable platform, proper SLC processes and governance, etc. This was a great opportunity for everis USA to come in, at the beginning of 2019, and create a completely new model and way of working in the area. The approach was basically to build a true partnership, to be an accelerator for the IT Compliance Area (structured and knowledgeable team aligned with IT Management and Business teams). This new model was key to the success of the CDD project. The complexity of the achievement is remarkable considering it has been carried out during the COVID pandemic, with the team working from home, even in this situation, it was an example of complete success and received great recognition from our customer.
